Selection, Installation and Use
Confirm the tubing temperature rating before use in a high-temperature environment; the fitting temperature limit does not establish the tube rating.
Place the locking cap over the tubing, insert the tubing into the body, then tighten the cap. For removal, loosen the cap first and withdraw the tubing.
Tighten the connector at its hexagon with a wrench.

The listed PU tubes are separately ordered examples for the BKC locking-cap connection T. Match both the exact metric outside diameter and an explicitly supported inside diameter; OD alone is not sufficient. This is a locknut tube connection, not a push-in socket. T does not assign flow direction or coil quantity. The tube options do not add a threaded adapter, host valve, locking-cap kit or internal repair part.
This fitting accepts 8 mm OD tube with 5.5 or 6 mm ID as shown in its dimension row. Each listed tube must match one complete OD × ID pair. The tube examples cover only the independently verified pairs shown in the table; they do not establish a tube code for every permitted ID, length or colour. Keep the male R circuit thread separate from the locking-cap tube end.
The male R PT1/4 thread needs a separately verified matching female circuit connection, suitable sealing and mechanical support. The tube codes do not certify a particular host product. Match the exact PT standard and nominal thread size; G and NPT are not interchangeable substitutes. Confirm the actual mating seal and any required sealing component; no included gasket, applied sealant or numerical tightening torque is established by these tube selections. Tighten the connector at its hexagon with a wrench, without transmitting the tightening load through the tube.
For insertion, place the locking cap over the tube, insert the tube into the connector body, then tighten the cap. For removal, isolate and depressurize the circuit, loosen the cap first, then withdraw the tube. Do not apply a push-in release-button procedure. Check the actual OD, ID, tube condition, insertion, retention and seal before use; the cap and connection must suit the actual tube wall.
These selections cover positive-pressure pneumatic service only. The stainless fitting is rated 0–1.0 MPa; its 3.0 MPa proof pressure is not a continuous working rating. Its separately printed −750 mmHg (10 Torr) value does not establish vacuum or collapse resistance for these exact PU tubes or the complete assembled path. Dimensional fit and the SUS304 designation do not authorize liquid service, chemical compatibility or a guaranteed system flow or leak performance.
Working-pressure ratings at 23°C for the listed tubes are UE95A 8 mm OD × 5.5 mm ID: 0.8 MPa; US98A 8 mm OD × 5.5 mm ID: 0.8 MPa; US98A 8 mm OD × 6 mm ID: 0.4 MPa. These are the selected low-pressure tube ratings; the fitting’s 1 MPa rating does not raise them to the standard-pressure tube rating. Apply the tube catalogue temperature-derating curve as temperature rises and use the lowest applicable tube, fitting and system limit. Do not assume the 23°C rating remains available throughout the temperature range. Tube burst pressures and fitting proof pressure are not allowable continuous working pressures.
US98A has a −20–70°C component range; UE95A has a −40–70°C component range. With the fitting’s 0–150°C range, the assembled path is limited to 0–70°C or a narrower applicable range. The fitting’s 150°C limit does not permit these PU tubes at that temperature, and the tube’s lower limit does not extend the fitting below 0°C. Confirm tubing suitability before any high-temperature use.
US98A is polyester-based PU, Shore A98±2; UE95A is ether-based PU, Shore A95±2. Every listed full tube code specifies its stated OD and ID, a 100 m coil (100M), and blue colour (BU). The fitting’s -S suffix specifies SUS304 stainless steel, not tube colour or a separate tube grade. The current fitting page does not establish a complete independent seal-material list. Confirm compatibility among the actual tube, seals, air contaminants, lubricant or additives and downstream equipment; material names alone are not an unrestricted chemical-service approval.
Minimum bend radii for the listed tubes are UE95A 8 mm OD × 5.5 mm ID: 17 mm; US98A 8 mm OD × 5.5 mm ID: 20 mm; US98A 8 mm OD × 6 mm ID: 25 mm. Keep bends clear of the locking-cap connection and support the tube without kinking, flattening or tensile load. Avoid acids, alkalis, organic solvents, seawater, corrosive gases, prolonged sunlight and excessive heat as specified for the PU tubing.
