LGC Series Cross Roller Guide
Product Overview
The LGC series is a high-rigidity, high-precision non-circulating linear motion guide. It utilizes precision cylindrical rollers arranged in an orthogonal (cross) pattern as the rolling elements, significantly reducing friction resistance while satisfying exceptionally high load capacity requirements.
- Japanese Precision Rollers: Employs precision rollers made in Japan (JIS B 1506 G2 grade) to ensure superior roundness, smooth rolling, and excellent wear resistance.
- Stainless Steel Construction: The V-groove rails are entirely crafted from high-grade stainless steel for outstanding corrosion resistance.
- High Load Capacity: The rigid rail structure and cross-roller configuration provide uniform load distribution in all directions, making it highly suitable for heavy-duty applications.
- Typical Applications: Widely used in optical measuring instruments, PCB drilling machines, X-ray equipment, precision positioning stages, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Technical Notes
Lubrication: Rails are factory pre-lubricated with high-quality Lithium Soap Grease. Periodic re-lubrication is highly recommended to maintain smooth operation and extend service life.
Cage Shift Phenomenon: In high-speed, vertical, or uneven load applications, "cage shift" (cage creeping) may gradually occur. It is recommended to perform a full stroke cycle periodically to mechanically re-center the cage.
