Permissible arm-load moment
2.2 N·m for 1-second clamp/open; 3.3 N·m for 2-second clamp/open
Interpretation
The specification table gives nominal 0.5 MPa torque; the separate selection table gives the pressure-dependent values shown here. Maximum clamp force occurs at the final locked position.
Force at the clamping point
Select from the catalog torque / arm-length and shim-thickness curves. A longer arm reduces force. Do not treat cylinder output torque as a guaranteed fixture tip force.

Operation and Adjustment
Use only the matching catalog-listed clamp arms. Select total arm mass and center-of-gravity offset from the load curves and use flow control for opening and clamping.
Adjust workpiece clearance with shims, then verify that the linkage passes the dead center and the return pin projects to show the locked state. Excessive shim thickness can prevent locking.
Fit side guides when necessary without imposing side load or obstructing the arm. With a hard stop, set stop clearance first and then adjust the workpiece pressure block.
To change opening angle, fit the matching F-JCK adjustment screw and reposition only the O (open) sensor to the angle mark. The C (clamped) sensor is factory set and must not be moved.
Except at the 15° setting, the O mark faces downward during sensor installation. Keep the sensor-to-Y-link clearance below 1.5 mm.
When fitting the arm, match the shaft indicator line to the catalog horizontal or vertical installation drawing. Tighten the contact-side V-block screw first and the open-side screw last, to the listed torque.
The linkage is mechanically self-locking at the clamped end. After isolating the air, the return pin can release the lock; keep clear of the arm because it may spring open.
A manual HL/HR version also allows manual clamping and release. Without HL/HR the model must not be described as supplied with a manual handle.

Reference weight
1527.1 g
Weight basis
Catalog assembly reference: 2200 g for 135° standard 40-size JCK with its 15 mm-offset arm. Estimated configuration correction subtracts 672.9 g AM1 fork envelope because this model has no arm code. The arm estimate uses the published fork dimensions and 7.85 g/cm³ nominal steel density; holes and contour details are not individually weighed. Sensor, angle-stop and handle variations are not independently tabulated. This is a configuration reference estimate, not a measured mass.
