Features and Operation
- The sleeve is moved by hand to change the valve state. Follow the IN/OUT orientation indicated in the applicable catalog drawing.
- The series offers different male/female connections for different piping arrangements, with smooth sliding operation and a large effective flow area.
- The valve plug receives a hard-anodized surface treatment, and the body is anodized.

Series Ordering Options
The series offers 1/8, 1/4, 3/8, 1/2, 3/4 and 1-inch sizes. An omitted arrangement suffix selects Standard; SS selects male/male, FF female/female, and SF mixed male/female. An omitted thread suffix selects PT; G and T select G and NPT. These are alternative valve configurations; the page does not publish a separate accessory kit or kit quantities.
Optional Piping Accessories
IN = this HSV valve’s inlet (G1/8, male, drawing FA); OUT = its controlled outlet (G1/8, female, drawing EA). Match each end with the opposite connection gender. Follow the valve’s IN/OUT markings; Standard and SF are not reversible equivalents. Each listed branch stays on its assigned side and must not bypass the valve. No separately threaded exhaust, pilot or manifold route is assigned. Multiple keys retain each use. Tube OD is mm (in = inches); compression/tubing show OD × ID. These piping accessories are optional and ordered separately.

The HSV valve operates at 0–1 MPa and −20–70°C with 40 µm filtered air. Apply every stricter component limit; proof pressure is not working pressure and no complete-path vacuum rating is established. All listed accessories are optional and ordered separately. Leave clearance to move the sliding sleeve fully and preserve the valve’s exhaust function.
Match the exact PT, G or NPT standard, size and opposite thread gender at each assigned end. Use the specified thread seal or face gasket and check engagement, tool access and support. Keep IN and OUT separate; never use a branch or adapter to bypass the valve. The sleeve and exhaust openings must remain unobstructed. The connection-arrangement suffix describes the complete valve, not a separate adapter kit.
Match tube OD and, for compression fittings, OD/ID; metric and inch sizes are not interchangeable. Use suitable soft nylon/PU tube and check insertion depth, bends, flow and sleeve clearance. Tube-side accessories need a separately selected matching threaded connection; tube does not connect directly to an HSV thread. Tighten compression bodies by the hex, not tube nuts. Where listed, D is black and blank grey; -M is miniature and -S identifies the specified stainless 304 parts only. Depressurize before disconnecting tubing or fittings.
GPCF/GPLF/GPMF/GBPCF/GBPMF have female pneumatic threads for the assigned male HSV end. Their tube socket is a separate connection. On GPMF/GBPMF bulkhead fittings, the outside panel-mounting thread and retaining nuts are not pneumatic pipe connections. Check panel thickness and washer/nut seating; support the assembly without restricting the HSV sleeve. For GPCF/GPMF, D specifies a black release button (blank: grey). For GPLF, D specifies a black release button and body (blank: grey). These D options do not apply to the listed metal or N-prefixed female fittings.
GPHF fittings have male RA and female RB of the stated thread, plus a separate tube socket. Use RA at an HSV female end or RB at an HSV male end; connect the remaining threaded end to its own matching opposite-gender part with the correct seal. RB is not a tube socket. Every branch belongs to that same IN or OUT circuit.
Match both adapter ends independently by size, gender and thread standard. GBD first size is female RB and the second male RA. GBU are female-to-female couplings; their other end requires a separately selected matching male part. These parts do not convert PT to G or NPT, and do not authorize plugging an active valve connection.
Standard push-in fittings and flow controls: ≤1 MPa, −20–70°C. Metal GBPC/GBPCF/GBPMF: ≤0.9 MPa. GBKC/GBB/GBD/GBU: ≤1 MPa. The listed metal push-in, compression, thread-adapter groups have a 0–150°C component range, limiting the HSV path to 0–70°C or narrower. Follow the lower pressure and narrower temperature range of the complete connection path.
For a directly mounted flow control, suffix A restricts thread→tube with free reverse flow; suffix B reverses it. Normal inlet flow at IN is tube→thread; normal delivery at OUT is thread→tube. Choose by the required direction and follow the symbols. Restrictions in the OUT line can affect downstream venting; a closed flow control is not leak-tight isolation. Do not force adjustment stops, and depressurize before tube removal.
PSA/GPSA are tube-side flow controls used through separate matching tube connections. Match each end’s tube OD and follow the flow symbols; they do not screw into the HSV threads. Keep the assigned IN or OUT circuit separate and check delivery and downstream venting in both valve states. Closed controls are not leak-tight isolation.
ASC serves upstream IN only. Its female connection may mate with this male HSV IN, subject to the specified seal and clearance; its other port still requires a matching male connection. Follow its P/A flow symbols. Its limits are 0.05–0.95 MPa and −20–70°C with ≤40 µm filtration. Apply these and every stricter component limit; the HSV rating does not extend the ASC range.
GAFR serves upstream IN only. Its female OUT may mate with this male HSV IN if the thread, seal, mounting and sleeve clearances agree; its inlet still needs matching male piping. Follow GAFR IN→OUT and verify total flow and bowl/environment suitability. Inlet ≤1 MPa; regulation 0.15–0.9 MPa; −5–70°C without freezing. These are not 1 MPa regulated-output ratings. The listed GAFR S configurations use a PC bowl. The listed standard S codes specify 40 µm filtration, differential/manual drain, bracket, round snap-in gauge (bar/MPa) and no reverse-flow valve. Other options change the complete code. Air lubrication is not required by the HSV specification.
US98A/UE95A examples are separately ordered blue 100 m metric PU coils rated 1 MPa at 23°C. US98A: −20–70°C; UE95A: −40–70°C. Match OD/ID and derate with increasing temperature within all valve/component limits; 1 MPa is not assured throughout. Use inch tube for an inch socket, never an approximately similar metric size.
GPTL recommended cap-adjustment torque: 0.08 N·m for 1/8. This is not thread-installation torque.
