Weight Reference

Parameter Details
Reference weight 336 g; 2022 Chinese comprehensive catalog, printed page 300 / PDF page 301; published reference GVR300-10J. Assigned as an estimated reference for the current configuration, not a measured product or shipping weight. the current 08 port code shares the same-size 10 port reference; the reference is without a bracket (J); no bracket-mass adjustment has been made for the current mounting option; no separate mass correction is calculated for gauge N, thread (blank). Actual supplied-product weight may differ.
Catalog weight scope The linked family table prints 342 g; the 2022 page-300 entry is 336 g for its stated configuration. Use the page-300 value as a reference, subject to the actual supplied product.

Features and Operation

The knob locks after adjustment, and the regulator can be mounted using its panel thread or a bracket. This is a negative-pressure regulator; positive pressure is prohibited.

Provide a safety circuit for loss of electrical power, vacuum pump operation or regulator function. Before disconnecting tubing, return the pressure to atmospheric pressure and isolate the vacuum pump.

The regulator is not intended to regulate vacuum-pump pressure. The catalog also excludes a vacuum generator whose flow capacity is below that of the regulator.

Turning the knob clockwise moves the setting from atmospheric pressure toward vacuum; counterclockwise returns it toward atmospheric pressure. Push the knob until it clicks after setting.

External and Mounting Dimensions

Dimensions are in millimeters unless a thread or other unit is shown. Lettered entries follow the catalog drawing; local callouts must not be combined into an invented length × width × height. Optional brackets and gauges are shown for reference only when their omission code is selected.

These optional fittings are ordered separately for the GVR vacuum regulator. P and A are separate female main ports, each requiring its own exact-size male PT, G or NPT connection; the thread standards are not interchangeable. Follow the actual body markings: P connects to the vacuum pump on the left in the catalog section, and A connects to the regulated vacuum circuit on the right. Do not bridge these ports or bypass regulation.

The GVR pressure range is −100 to −1.3 kPa for air. The separate catalog maximum-pressure entry of −1.0 kPa does not extend that range and is not a proof-pressure rating. Positive pressure is prohibited. The selected fitting families list a negative-pressure limit of −750 mmHg (10 Torr). At BOTH P and A connections, keep the actual absolute pressure at or above 10 Torr and within the GVR pressure range, using the actual local atmospheric pressure when converting gauge and absolute values. P and A may operate at different vacuum levels; check both sides during start-up, adjustment, steady operation and isolation, including piping losses and admitted air. These fittings do not cover every point of the GVR nominal scale or establish system leakage, ultimate vacuum or regulation performance.

The catalog air-inhalation consumption of ≤0.6 L/min (ANR) is not a rated main-flow capacity. Use the applicable GVR200 or GVR300 flow and pressure curves for the actual pump-side pressure, controlled pressure and required throughput; chart axis maxima are not additional operating ratings. The GVR is not intended to regulate vacuum-pump pressure, and the catalog excludes a vacuum generator with flow capacity below the regulator’s requirement. Keep the regulator’s intended atmospheric air-inhalation and venting paths unobstructed; none of the listed fittings is assigned to those paths.

Keep the complete GVR and connected materials within −20–70°C and every stricter local component limit. The plastic push-in groups, including their listed -S versions, have a −20–70°C component range, giving a −20–70°C intersection with GVR. Metal push-in, compression and threaded-adapter groups have a 0–150°C component range, so those connections are limited to 0–70°C here. A metal or stainless part does not raise the temperature or vacuum rating of its seals, tube or the complete assembly.

This is a vacuum regulator, not a filter or lubricator. J omits the mounting bracket and N omits the pressure gauge; without the respective omission code, the original inclusion applies. Support the regulator and piping independently and preserve access to the adjusting knob and its push-to-lock function. Drawing D is the M33×1.5 or M40×1.5 panel-mounting thread, not a pneumatic connection. No listed item is assigned to a gauge tapping, atmospheric vent, drain or mounting hole.

The fitting catalogs specify suitable soft nylon or PU tube, but positive-pressure tube ratings alone do not establish vacuum suitability. No complete tube model is recommended in this list. Select tubing separately with verified vacuum resistance, resistance to collapse, temperature and chemical compatibility, and acceptable leakage for the actual circuit. Match the listed OD at every push-in socket and both OD and ID at compression fittings; metric and inch sizes are not interchangeable. Check insertion, retention, seal condition, bend radius, support and clearance before evacuating the line.

Use the correct thread seal or face gasket for each mating end and verify airtightness after assembly. Tighten fitting bodies by their specified hex rather than by tube nuts, release buttons or the regulator knob. For tee, branch and distribution fittings, keep all outlets on their assigned P-side or A-side circuit; every remaining outlet needs a correctly sealed vacuum-rated connection. Do not leave an open branch, bypass the regulator or connect a main vacuum line to an unrelated service port.

PHF fittings use male RA at the selected GVR P or A port; female RB requires its own matching male thread and seal and is not a tube socket. Match the separate tube socket by its listed OD and check banjo seating and clearance. For every threaded adapter, match the other end’s exact size and male/female form to its own mating part on that same side of the regulator; a matching first end does not qualify the second end automatically.

Where listed, D changes the release-button colour for PC/POC, while the other plastic threaded families use D for the specified black button/body version; blank is the catalog grey version. -M denotes the listed miniature version. -S identifies the specified stainless-304 parts, not a higher vacuum or temperature class. Select the complete code and its actual geometry, not a colour or material suffix alone.

The catalog component positive-pressure and proof ratings do not authorize pressurizing the GVR vacuum circuit. Isolate and safely return the circuit to atmospheric pressure before removing tubing or fittings; follow the GVR safety and maintenance instructions, including protection against power loss, pump failure or regulator failure. Confirm actual availability or an approved replacement before ordering. Items marked discontinued are historical service references, not current standard recommendations; an unmarked catalog entry does not promise current production, stock or delivery.
