Electrical Connections

Parameter Details
Pin 1 / brown DC positive supply
Pin 2 / black OUT1 switching output
Pin 3 / white OUT2 switching output
Pin 4 / orange Selected analog output or zero-shift input
Pin 5 / blue DC negative / 0 V
Switching loads Between black/white output and DC negative for PNP
Analog load Between orange analog output and DC negative, within the selected output load specification
Zero-shift input The illustrated input switch connects orange to DC negative when the zero-shift function is selected

Do not directly connect the analog orange conductor to 0 V or an externally imposed bias voltage without its required load, and do not leave the analog load floating. Analog output and zero-shift input share the orange connection and are selected by the instrument mode.

Display and Controls

  • From measurement mode, hold SET for two seconds to switch to the basic setting interface; the diagram uses SET for two seconds to return.
  • Hold SET for four seconds to show zero-shift pressure; use the indicated SET operation to return.
  • In the measurement-setting interface, press SET to move between parameters and use the up/down buttons to set the values.

Operating Modes

Parameter Details
Basic Each output uses its selected pressure setpoint (1P/2P) and the fixed hysteresis shown in the timing chart.
Hysteresis Separate upper and lower thresholds 1H/1L and 2H/2L; the output changes state at the corresponding threshold.
Window comparator In the illustrated normal output mode, the output is ON between the lower and upper thresholds and OFF outside the window; hysteresis applies at both boundaries.
Suction check Output 1 checks suction pressure, including the zero-shift reference where selected; output 2 detects vacuum-plate break. The zero-shift operation follows the selected TS delay. Intermediate mode derives 1P from the average of two entered measured values.
Leakage Output 1 checks fill pressure between 1H and 1L. Output 2 evaluates leakage relative to the zero-shift reference and its 2P leak setting; the zero-shift input is required for that leak judgment.

For basic/window modes, the timing diagram gives fixed hysteresis references of 0.5 kPa for the 100 kPa range and 2 kPa for the 1,000 kPa range. N.O./N.C. settings can reverse the resulting switching logic.

Settings and Functions

Parameter Details
Switching-output polarity OUT1 and OUT2 each offer N.O./N.C. selections in the menu
Output delay: specification page 1 2, 20, 100, 500, 1,000 and 2,000 ms
Output delay: menu diagram page 4 2, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 ms, plus 2.5 s and 5 s
Delay-version note The two lists in this PDF differ. Select only a delay actually available in the supplied instrument; do not assume all listed values are present in one firmware version.

Secondary display Setting, peak hold, bottom hold, or alternating peak/bottom
Display refresh selections 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 ms
Power saving ON/OFF selection
Original settings Reset / retain selection
Analog / zero-shift mode The menu assigns the orange conductor to analog output or zero-shift input. These are operating selections, not simultaneous functions of that wire.
  • Key lock: press up and SET together, release when LCK ON appears. Unlock with down and SET together, releasing when LCK OFF appears.
  • Zero clear: press up and down together to reset the displayed value to zero.
  • The selected analog output changes linearly from 4 mA at −100 kPa to 20 mA at 1,000 kPa, as illustrated.
  • Read the timing diagrams and available settings for the supplied version before using leakage or suction-check outputs in machine logic.

Separately Ordered Mounting Accessories

Parameter Details

F-DPSLB Rear mounting bracket, shown with this housing; 29.6 mm width, 24 mm upright, thickness 1.6 mm and 2 × Ø3.2 rear holes
F-DPSDEB The accessory page separately lists a bottom-ported housing panel adapter with 35.5 ±0.3 mm opening and 1–5 mm panel thickness. It is not the panel adapter specified for this terminal/B housing.
Supply scope The sensor model code does not include the separately ordered panel adapter or bracket. No extra kit count is inferred from the illustration.

Installation and Use

  • Do not drop the sensor or subject it to excessive impact.
  • The cable tensile-strength figure is 60 N; avoid applying excessive pull to the cable.
  • Do not exceed 7 N·m when screwing in the pressure connection. This is a piping limit, not the M3 bracket-screw torque.
  • Use non-corrosive gas within the rated pressure range; do not use corrosive or flammable gases or liquids.
  • Switch off the power before connecting or disconnecting wires.
  • Avoid environments where oil or solvent liquid splashes onto the unit.
  • Keep sensor wiring separate from high-voltage and power wiring; do not share the same conduit.

Estimated Weight

Estimated product weight: 142 g. This is a dimensional or analogous-component planning estimate, not an AirTAC published weight, an individual weighing or a packed shipping weight. Actual product weight can differ.
