1. Physics of the Special Nozzle

Unlike standard lubricators that produce heavy drops (>2μm) which settle immediately, the GAL’s special nozzle structure shears oil into an aerosol. This allows lubrication to reach complex valve islands and end-of-arm tooling far from the source.

The ISO VG32 Standard
VG32 is the engineering "Goldilocks" viscosity: thin enough for reliable atomization, yet thick enough to maintain a high-shear protective film on seals under load. Oils like VG46 are too viscous to mist, leading to a full oil bowl but dry, failing cylinders.
Setting the Drip Rate
The Golden Rule: Aim for 1 drop per minute for every 10 SCFM of consumption. Use a white-paper exhaust test: a light oily sheen is perfection; liquid drops signify over-lubrication.
Standard Polycarbonate (PC) bowls will spontaneously crack if exposed to synthetic compressor oils or alkaline solvents. For these environments, specify Nylon (N) or the ultra-robust Metal (C) bowl to prevent catastrophic pressure bursts.

Lube-Free vs. Lubricated?
"Lube-free" cylinders are pre-packed with limited grease. In high-cycle apps, this grease migrates. The GAL provides the active replenishment needed to extend MTBF by up to 300%.
